Let’s get to the root of it- together.
A trusted space where people from all walks of life can feel safe, seen, and supported as they move toward greater mental well-being
Meet your therapist…
Hi, I'm Danielle Cooper, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Iowa. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. My experience includes working in emergency and inpatient mental health settings, school-based therapy, and shelter services for teens, which helped me discover my passion for working with teens and adults.
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you can process life's challenges without judgment. I take a collaborative approach to therapy by balancing listening and support with practical tools and strategies tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, grief, low self-esteem, relationship and communication challenges, life transitions, stress, codependency, and provide LGBTQ+ affirming care.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and our two cats. I love trying new restaurants, exploring new places, curling up with a Frieda McFadden book, and volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House.
I would be honored to be part of your journey toward healing and growth.
We believe getting mental health care shouldn’t be hard.
